Approved affiliates earn a 20% commission on eligible purchases made through their unique referral links.

Commissions are calculated on the amount actually paid by the customer, excluding applicable taxes, discounts, and refunded amounts.

For example, a qualifying $99 purchase earns a $19.80 commission.

Approved affiliates earn a 20% commission on qualifying purchases of eligible products and services made through their unique referral links.

Eligible purchases include my standard-priced book description, book sales audit, sales page optimization, and publishing consultation services.

The following purchases are excluded:

• The Fiction Blurb Blueprint and other products sold through third-party checkout systems that do not support affiliate tracking.
• Wholesale or publisher-discounted orders.
• Custom-quoted projects and negotiated contracts.
• Business-to-business arrangements outside my standard retail offerings.
• Purchases made by affiliates through their own referral links.
• Refunded, cancelled, fraudulent, or otherwise invalid transactions.

When a visitor clicks an affiliate link, the referral is stored in their browser for up to 30 days.

If the visitor clicks another affiliate’s link during that period, the newer referral replaces the previous one and begins a new 30-day attribution period.

Commissions are awarded when a qualifying purchase is completed within the attribution period and the referral is successfully recorded by the checkout system.

Referral tracking is browser-based and may be affected by browser settings, privacy tools, deleted browsing data, or the use of different devices.

Commissions cannot be guaranteed for purchases where no qualifying referral is recorded.

A referral link does not establish a permanent commission entitlement to a customer. Purchases made after the attribution period expires do not qualify unless a new eligible referral is recorded.

For consultation services requiring an inquiry or application before payment, referral eligibility is determined when the qualifying inquiry is submitted, provided the resulting purchase is completed within a reasonable period.

Commissions are payable only on valid, completed purchases.

If a purchase is refunded, cancelled, or charged back, the associated commission will be cancelled or adjusted.

If a commission has already been paid before a refund or chargeback occurs, the corresponding amount may be deducted from future affiliate earnings.

Commissions are paid monthly, by the 10th of the following month, following verification of eligible purchases.

There is no minimum payout threshold. Affiliates receive payment for all approved commissions earned during the reporting period.

Commissions are calculated and recorded in USD. Payments may be made in USD or an equivalent amount in another currency, depending on the recipient’s location and available payment methods.

Where currency conversion is required, the exchange rate offered by the payment provider at the time of payout will apply.

Ordinary sending fees will be covered by my business where practical. Affiliates are responsible for any receiving fees or additional charges imposed by their bank or payment provider.

Refunded, cancelled, or charged-back transactions do not qualify for commissions. If a commission has already been paid and the associated purchase is subsequently refunded, the amount may be deducted from future commissions or otherwise recovered.

Affiliates may request a statement of their recorded referrals, approved commissions, adjustments, and payments.

Statements may include transaction dates, anonymized order references, purchase amounts, and commission amounts.

Customer names, contact details, and other private information will not be disclosed.

If an affiliate believes a commission has been calculated incorrectly, they may request a review.

Affiliates must promote products and services accurately and responsibly.

Affiliates must:

• Clearly disclose when they may earn a commission from a recommendation.
• Avoid misleading claims, fabricated testimonials, or guarantees of results.
• Avoid unsolicited spam or other unlawful promotional practices.
• Respect applicable advertising, consumer protection, and privacy laws.
• Avoid representing themselves as employees or official representatives of my business.

Affiliates may not use deceptive referral practices or manipulate the tracking system to generate commissions.
